using just pro mix organic soil and fertilizer. i checked their fertilizers and the labels have the word organic with the same font, but some say organic 'based' and those are the more powerful liquid fertilizers. the only ones that just say organic are the only ones that are also omri certified as is the soil mix i use (organic moisture mix for now but will try herb and veg mix next also omri cert)
also use kelpman kelp juice from bc which i will water with some times. i will be just pouring the water into the reservoirs below the pots and let the polypropylene webbing(white strips) wick it up through the fabric pots and also i use a mulch disc cut from reflectix from home depot to slow the evaporation, so far i have checked under the mulches almost a week after transplanting and the soil is all the same, lightly damp with a dry ring around the outside edge, so, perfect so far i hope. otherwise will add more webbing strips or try to cut a disc out of capillary matting if it comes to it
the plants were all root bound in 2/3's full 1 gallon fabric pots, so i just put them multiple plants to a pot but once i pick a mother and start growing regularly it will be just one plant per 7 gallon pot so to keep within the law. and hey, the only hydroponics shop in town has no less than 10 feet of counter/glass space with high potency seedbank seeds all at premium prices which is highly illegal so just sayin'
the clone is supposedly rockstar which came from good weed and was started almost two months earlier. the others are all nirvana papaya except for one free hash passion from canuk seeds. the pics are june 28th after transplant and july 4th today, six days later. i chopped the one papaya when i was sure it was male, so in the pic from today there is one fewer plant keep in mind
the only other male is a sativa pheno of papaya(P7). where all the other plants smelled 1-3 out of 10, this one smelled 10 out of 10, and it is a male : ) save for rockstar, if it really is rockstar. good thing i will be making seeds so this papaya male is perfect
out of 5 papayas there were 2 indica phenos, 2 sativa phenos and one hybrid pheno, which i must say responded the well after transplanting. it sprouted the garden's first full hairs within a day and the leaves began to smell strong to the touch as did the stem. again aside from the rockstar clone which is fully mature and has very strong smelling leaves/stems. papaya is jock horror (mexican haze x northern lights x skunk #1) x skunk#1 according to nirvana website btw
