    some updates:

the pot with rockstar(maybe blueberry?) clone and P1 sativa for some reason was the only pot to saturate at the bottom and drink the most water while the others i could barely feel any moisture at the bottom and the reservoirs took longer to run out. however the P7 male and P3 hybrid pot grew just as fast, while the P4 indica and hash passion pot didn't get going like the others also because the bulb was aiming off center of the tent and it was not getting as much light as the others(fixed). the saturation at the top of the soil was definitely more noticeable in the saturated pot btw

also i did not give much more than a few liters at a time to any of the reservoirs, and a few days ago for the first time i gave 7 liters and the two pots that were not saturated have responded and should catch up, while the saturated pot seems to have leveled out for some reason. you can see the saturated pot(upfront) is bushier and lighter green than the others which suggest to me higher water levels in the soil

i am making a few mistakes with the clones to find my perfect method which will also be wicking hopefully, will share results. will start flowering routine in a few days and give the plants their first feeding of the 3-7-3 pro mix pellets

rockstar/maybe blueberry?'s fan leaves smell like grape and soap, while the leaves of the papaya sativa and hybrid smell nice now also, kind of similar. the hash passion stems smell like lime candy with a hint of grasshopper spit while the P1 sativa stems smell ultra pine sol like. the P4 indica stems although mild have some nice sweet and spicy flavours and more recently a nasty earwax smell. this and the hash passion will hopefully respond to the brighter light and wicking with more water in the reservoirs

so i will maybe next time either double or triple the webbing layers(not the number of sites). just so they protrude up off the grill a few more millimeters so to maybe push up a bit into the fabric pot. or maybe next time always fill the reservoirs and not just a few liters. maybe also when i potted i packed the one more than the others or there was some dry soil mixed in that started the wicking chain or something. was also thinking to cut slits in the fabric pots and stitch the webbing in...

until then here are some pictures showing 2 1/2 weeks growth. the first while with temps in the tent at up to 34c when we had the heatwave, which is returning btw. also had to take a few extra clones

flowering schedule started on tuesday by removing the one hour of disruptive light from the middle of night time. yesterday the pots were top dressed with the flowering pellets then sprayed with kelp water under the mulch discs before patting down. also had to add water to the saucers again since they had almost run out in all pots since last watering five days ago. the saturated pot still wicked the most leaving the saucer dry but the others were very close

the plants only got 12 hours of hid light for veg and these pictures show 20 days growth since transplant. also the one male in the first picture was cut and i took more than twelve clones because of d'oh(!) and almost mid 30's temps in the tent at times. on the other hand weed does generally grow very fast as i remember

will be cutting the light by 20 minutes each week until harvest which will be early to mid september

a week since light schedule was changed to flowering and will reduce the daytime by 20 minutes. i can't believe how much they grew once the light schedule was changed, here are pictures of 4 days growth

it is infuriating why the random pot wicks up water compared to the others, although the others have more roots growing into the reservoirs and are growing nicely still. although after i made a few wick cloners with perlite, for some reason the first few i made wicked the water up into the dry perlite within an hour but the next one didn't and it seems the wicking was being pinched. either way i just need to fine tune this method

also here is a picture of the wick cloners i made with the same wick(aka webbing) and some ziploc containers. the other brands make the same combination of sizes of containers btw. i tried with soil but most clones didn't make it because the soil was too saturated and they got root rot. will see what happens

Hey resi, any chance you can get a closer shot of the plant from the first picture you shared above, specifically the internodes? ^
