    Wi this give me to true wattage that the lights give off? Im also after comparing the out put to a 600w duel spec HPS

    Yes, well it will measure the real electrical power consumed in the light.

    Those vipars are not all that shit hot anymore Peanut. Think they pull around 300w iirc so roughly equal to a 250w hps

    i use same make,vipars,except mine are 200 true wt.they are part of my inventory thats designed to enable me to grow whatever the outside temps are/all year round.

    i still prefer my cmh315's but in the event of a scorchio summer im able to continue growing without needing to pay out for ac etc,something i simply cannot afford nor indeed use in my enviroment.

    they do a job and they work,i have however heard some negatives about the vipr 900's,and nothing but plus's about the 450's hence i bought 2x 450w's.

    theyve more than paid for themselves.
