Im due to upgrade my lights and have, up until this point, been set on an IS kit. I remember hearing of the plasma lighting a while back but nothing really came of it and when i looked i couldnt find anything

I thought it was old news till i watched another video from a month ago and again Jeff speaks of the plasma lights

Still cant find much info on them or companies that sell them. Sun on demand is the brand Jeff uses but through their site they give a quote for 1000ft² which i obviously dont have

Anyone know anything about this type of lighting? Its got me really interested...
They have some stuff on youtube and insta too. This is a lot more interesting than the Gavita LEP. A lot more powerful. If this really is so close to sunlight, it's got me thinking about the combo with living soil. I gotta think the quality of the medicine would be next level. Hope I get a chance to try one...

I wouldnt touch any HID lamp these days . LED all the way . Invisible sun and HLG are pretty much at the forefront imho in quality vs price . There are others im sure . Like Kind led . Black dog . But they have all fancy enclosures on their lamps wich drives the price right up wich makes em unaffordable for the average person .

All others(hid) are energy hogs not even worth a bat of an eyelid . Plasma included .even a High output fluo is inefficient compared to led .A quality Led pretty much all youll need

If I use LED then I also need to add a heat source - all savings flushed away in an instant .... and an expensive LED to boot

If you keep the driver in the groom . You should be good MC . The driver runs at aboit 50°C the panels at 36° . Add a small variable speed automated temp controller for your groom exhuat and your laughing MC

Been there, read the book, got the T shirt... and low temps too

Trust me, I'm not just being awkward, I have diaries out there that verify what I say, which is, with LED, in my grow room, I can not keep my temps in range

LED would be a good option for me but what is the point if all savings are pissed into the wind by having to heat my groom

    Agree with MC

    Coal, butane, hps or led.....

    Physics is physics

Once youre beyond 500w then led begins to makes sense.

Well lit, cold plants arent yielders.
