But to answer your question, no being shaded by a building does not mean you can start counting dark hours, it needs to be much darker then that.
Yeah I figured that was the case with regards to moon/stars. Okay then so the cover will be used, the only reason I asked this is because my plants look to be flowering and I'm on 17hrs of sunlight, I'll get a couple of pictures tomorrow when the sun comes up...

In my mind, but having never grown photos - the modern seeds we buy are very sensitive to light.

Look at the number of hermie posts.

I don’t think these modern feminised seeds care the fact the light source is natural or not. To add, people complain about low light enmities like the imkbird controllers.

The moon is very powerful - it caused a mass spawning in my 400g reef tank and killed it :-(

If the moon is a special light source which does not cause problems - you should copy it and sell it and become rich in the ganja growing world! Regardless of source light is light!

Hermie posts could be for a variety of reasons.

The moon is around 100-1000 times too little for photosynthesis on most plants (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16916290).

"If the moon is a special light source which does not cause problems - you should copy it and sell it and become rich in the ganja growing world! Regardless of source light is light!" What? Regardless of source, light is light? To the human eye... maybe.

True!!! I was not suggesting a plant could photosynthesis from the moon.

    No bother man.

I intend to force flower next Saturday so wish me luck, about 8-10 weeks from then and I should have some nice OG Kush. This was just a test run as I've never grew outdoors before and didn't know how it'd grow in my climate but has surprised me.

I'll see what I can do...

The last time I was active on here I had a diary but the pictures seem to have disappeared from it, I didn't finish the diary because of some real life shit that went on at the time but the harvest was lovely.
