Default White and Orange stuffing on my soil.... Is this fungi?

Does anyone know what this is and if it's related to the other picture with the leaves with the spots on them.

I did research and so far I've come to the opinion that it's Botrytis but I'm not 100% on this.

I've also felt that this could be due to over watering, because I'm using Blumat Auto-watering system.

And another theory; I have a dog who pees inside the house once in a while and I'm sure the pee has seeped thru the ceiling.

But after all this, I'm here asking your opinion it any other insight into this.

    Is it just plain water?

...and what type of soil do you have?

It looks like some form of residue....not 100% sure.
But a doubt it could be your dogs piss that has leaked through the ceiling lol. Again...not 100% sure.
