    Drop whippy or gardro a pm mate regarding the potentiometer. Gardro mentored whippys build and hes got his ballasts connected up to them

    For dimming you can use a clamp type Ampere Meter . Only on one wire though set at the DC amp setting .

    For example 2100mah will read 2.1 3200mah=3.2 . So turn the potentiometer and read your amps . You can also test the amps on the AC side . Again only on one wire . Read the amps as you turn the dimmer

    For DC amperes . You need to be on the green A with one solud line and one dotted on 10 a And take your lead . Switch it from th V to 10 am

    Then unhook one the hot wire that goes to the light . Take one lead on one wire and the other on the other wire of same color . If your meter is equiped for it will work that method . If not a clamp type meter is necessary for amps
