Default How to make THC Salve

    Hi

Thanks to M_C I got to try making a THC salve to address Complex Regional Pain Syndrome.

For now, this is merely a photo guide as to how I undertook it.

    Ingredients
    7g Bud
    150ml Coconut Oil
    54ml olive oil
    40g grated beeswax
2 drop of essential oil. I used lemon grass

    Method
    1) Preheat oven to 120C
    2) Roughly grind bud and place on baking paper on a baking tray
    3) Cover in another layer of baking paper and wrap tray in tin foil.
    4) Bake for 30 mins
    5) Meanwhile warm the coconut oil and olive oil in a double boiler. (I used a slow cooker with a Pyrex measuring bowl). You can do in a saucepan - but if you burn the liquid - game over.
    6) Stir continuously till fully melted.
    7) Add decarbed bud to fully melted coconut oil and olive oil.
    8) Whisk continuous for 25 mins.
    9) Prepare filter. I used two layers of tights fixed to a jar with a hair band.
    10) Slowly pour concentrate through.
    11) Using the same Pyrex bowl, place grated wax in, and melt.
    12) Add coconut infusion, along with two drop of essential oil to melted beeswax and decant and allow to cool and solidify.

Same. This is natural and very effective.

My wife is happy. Honestly, although I have ridiculous wastage and pain with the muscles, I am hoping, even running up and down stairs!

I cry and cry at the change in 24 hrs. It has been such a long long journey.

Not out of the woods... but very close.

This just feels right. I cannot describe. Pain is not pain. Chronic pain destroys lives.. and I feel like I have a reprieve.

Thank you M_C you have seriously changed my life.

Quite why I have been on here for so long and not thought about using here to get fixed? Geez.

Thanks, I have a few photos in the wrong order and can no longer edit.

It is really simple as a techniqiue. I will proof read tomorrow and see if the Mods can edit the final version correctly. I am an edit happy monkey!

I would hate for someone not to be able to help themselves with this invaluable info.

This is a tappa issue - If you look on the desktop site the pictures display beautifully

Well, for the first night in six months, I slept through.

None of this getting up nine times to ease the pain.

My cup girl is not happy, but recovering!

I was very sore this morning. Salved up immediately and now walking normally again with only minor pain!

How do you determined what partition of this to use?

I did not! I used a piece the size of my thumb nail. I used slightly more this morning when I woke.

It melts and works into the skin with ease.

Initially a slight numb, and then about five minutes later serious pain relief. Hard to describe, I can feel the floating bits in my knee locking, but that is it. A mental note. No chronic pain.

The salve lasts about four hours.

I got a little lip balm 18ml pot which enables me to reapply when out.

I think I said the wife has a permanent break in her foot - applied it and was also blown away with the pain relief!
