Hi mate im good hope youre well. Yeah they are pretty good for a budget light. 80-90% as efficient as samsung based QBs but then they are cheap as chips so well worth a try.

Is the reflector needed? I doubt it. Do we want the driver mounted there? Definitely not.
    I am not convinced.
    Not convinced either

I will build a custom rig.
I genuinely think the Mars design is flawed. I am sure you could remove it ... why though?!
I had a fan blowing over my ISH60 as well until we got into summer and then I turned it off because as it was blowing hot air from the top of my box down it meant less hot air was extracted and my overal temperature increased.
My driver is mounted on the inside of my fridge below my extraction and with a heatsink between the driver and the fridge or else the insulated wall would reflect heat back into the driver.

How will you run the 730nm strips? The whole day or are you doing that 15-30 minutes just before or after the main lights go out?

Am I the only one that has suspicions when manufacturers send lights out to reviewers? Who's to say they don't send out lights with slightly better specs/ higher quality builds then what the build for the general public?

And slightly off topic but also not completely, I just received a second hand 180w Hans Panel this week and am looking forward to start growing with it but that will have to wait till summer is over. I probably won't be hanging it in my 44x49cm fridge but most likely in a 70x70cm space.

Including shipping from Holland I paid 125 euros for it which was quite a good deal considering these are 325 euros new and it's only about 8 months old

Decent quality diodes at less than £1 per true watt sounds good to me buddy. Looks very heavy in red spectra mind. You may be better off using as a supplement to full white diodes buddy. Youd be able to get the original qb288 or similar mind with no need for the later R spec or B spec boards as this would fill those spectra very nicely.
