1.7 efficiency from a light that cheap is fantastic and can only be good news for growers.
Seems like the manufacturers are taking note of the QB's success and want a slice of that pie. As the tech matures manufacturing costs will plummet. Will ultimately help pave the way for cheaper, better lights for consumers

Mars hydro 300 blurple was my 1st light (I know I know, but it came with the kit ), replaced it after 3 weeks of my first grow with my QB's and never looked back.

Having read Gaz's post I won't be in a hurry to buy anymore MARS products, but for a new grower on a budget these are going to be hard to beat I think.

NO SELL, NO SMELL, NO TELL!!!

Yeah mate I know that incident and I was the first one to react under her message...

Anyways, I believe a stupid mistake of a worker should not be counted as the mistake of a whole company. On the other hand do I own any mars products, no... In fact I own an invisible sun qb which is great and it is my best light upto now...

All we want is more competition, it is benefical for the end user always.

Same, one of my boards had a blown line of LEDS.

No problem at all. Rich reacted and had a new board in the post before I could even offer to return the old one!

Fantastic customer service should be praised and rewarded.

I'd be asking how their Epistar diodes compare with the Samsungs...

That’s just it,I know they are drawing more power than the IS boards but I don’t know enough about lumens and ppfd to have an opinion,I need some one in the know to tell us how bright the mars diodes are and how efficient compared to the IS QBs.
