Been looking online at a few different insulation boards. One website i saw sells kingspan and celotex, only looked at the celotex but it offers 4 different verions (TB, GA, XR and CW).

Just wondering if theres a certain insulation anyone could recommend? Any brand would be fine and the thinner the better ideally

I'd personally go for good old fashioned rock wool as I find it a better all round product and you can even find it in compressed slabs and not just giant blankets or rolls.
Either of the products above you have mentioned will work fine .
The codes generally refer to things like cavity wall , pitched roofs, floor insulation etc etc.
Kingspan and celotex both have decent websites which will provide you with the information you want

King span cooltherm I used. Had it off the back of a lorry kind of that’s the only reason I used it but it works pretty well. Well it did on my first run at least
