    Default LED setup

Hey growers! I wanted to know what some of you would do with the LEDs I have..

    I’ve got 3 LEDs from Meizhi (they’re pretty much like MarsHydro I believe). I have a 300w, a 450w and a 900w.

How much coverage can I get and how would you place them? I have a 5’ x 5’ grow tent but also have the possibility to get a bigger outdoor shed just for the plants.

How many plants can I fit under those LEDs? I have a medical license so I can fit quite a few

    Cheers!

To be honest you need to see what your leds are drawing from the socket, the manufacturers wattage figures are bull crap, you may find you may have to add a hps or quantum board to really fill your 5ft space.
    It's nice to be nice.

If you going to hang 3 different lights, you need them to all be the same wattage.

I used to grow with the Meizhi 300's. I found that with one plant it was ok,really pushing it with 2. Great lights for vegging though!

HPS runs way too hot for the summer here even with an AC.. but quantum boards are definitely interesting. Any ideas on DIY QBs with grewt quality/price?

You can easily make your own cheaper if you know what driver and boards to purchase.

The ball ache is finding the heat sink and rig etc.

Ebay is the cheapest - only buy v2 as most is v1.

Or use this site discount and buy from Invisible Sun.

Said it before, you save a few quid at start, and then grow thousands of crop ??????

    Don't skimp for success!
