Agreed about the temps. I doubt its anything other than the soil didnt have enough to get it through.

The kelp tea wouldn't be enough on its own if they're hungry. Not sure what you fed it already but in the future mix in some ammendments before you plant.

In a 20l pot... I'm not sure what size plant youre going for but if your aim is water only you cant get too big unless you do a couple well timed top dresses. Even then you're limited.

How the feck do you not get a full grow out of a virgin living soil?????

Or... Its been stored for too long??

    OP.
    .....

Build it, know whats in it and learn about the soil chemistry and biology then you set for life lol

Let mother nature feed the plant shes alot better than you lol
Dont think it matters how long it was sitting.. Microbes will go dormant.

Unless it was outdoors getting rained on and facing the elements.. Even then, 30 days of veg doesnt sound demanding.

Anyone reading, just build your own... Its so easy and rewarding. And of you really wanna go hard, start a worm bin. All my plants (houseplants, veggies, flowers, canna) always respond well with it. Cant go wrong.
