Default Electric Sky 300 - LUX and PAR readings

    Hi Talkers,

    In case anyone is interested.

Finally got my new lights mounted. These readings are taken from the center of the outside light not against a wall. I expect readings to improve once I get the mylar installed.

    48 inches 236 PAR, 12,600 LUX
    18 inches 800 PAR, 45,000 LUX
    12 inches 1000 PAR, 53,000 LUX

It looks like these lights will be great for a low headroom grow room just as advertised. This is at full power. They are dimmable.

I am really looking forward to getting the room finished and getting a grow started.

    Cheers.

Thanks mate. The coverage on these lights is limited but with 3 I should have a solid grow area of about 50 inches x 90 inches. It is an upgrade in floor space but the height limitation still has me concerned. I only have 49 inches from floor to lights. 18 inches from the lights leaves me with 31 inches for pot and plant.

For my first grow I am thinking of taking these 20 gallon pots but only filing 10 gallons and folding over the rest of the pot. This will give me 10 gallons at 8" soil height. That leaves me with 23 inches for plant which I think I can manage.

    Cheers mate.

Wow man. That’s a hell of a grow room. How many plants are you hoping to have in there?

Hi City i good thanks hope you are well. Nice lights those, getting very popular. There seems to be some application of science in the design so they should yield pretty well.

I always look at these long panels & wonder if they would be any good for side lighting?
