Must be into my thirties now (auto plant grows). Each grow I train more and have reached the same conclusion. 50-55 days flower from when I let her grow up!

My Orange Diesel I held back to early 50s and will easily run 110-120 days! Mon the yield!

I have a theory (thinking out loud)...

Ok so maybe it's not so much the height that's doing it, as the plant can't really tell what height it is?..BUT if I think about it, by tying her down, she 'thinks' she needs to get out from under whatever it is that's stopping her from getting to where she wants to be, almost like she's now diverting all the energy she would normally have been putting into flowering, into getting up, out and over what's restricting her from growing 'straight up'..kind of like in nature how when plants grow together they all compete to get above the others to make sure they are absorbing the light they need...so this delays her flowering?

Well here's an example m8....when you veg a photoperiod plant for long enough and it ages. As in week 1 of veg, week 2 of veg and so on, it starts to show pre flowers. This is once it is mature enough. How long that is....is all down to genetics.
Height is got fuckall to do with it. I never mentioned height.

Am no sayn a plant knows its age....like oh its ma birthday the morra. Am 3 weeks n 6 days old.
But the plants do age. And they do mature and end up showing maturity.

    Interesting!!!

So why are they not showing flower at day 45-50? I don't think it is just genetics. They all show sex quickly.I currently have a white widow at day 52 that has not hit pre flower as I have kept her tied down.

The Bluberry above, I grew before and it flowers very quick at around 21 days IME. Now 44?!

I don't think the pic is helping.

The pipe cleaners are 4cm. The plant from rim to top is 7cm. Just checked with tape measure.

    About 45cm wide
