Hi guys i,m finaly back in the groom and thinking about my next grow. Ive gone against my usual 2 plant rule and done a quick 8 plant sog to get something in the jars. I,ve been researching the advancements in that time and will be going back to 2 plants and plan to use a 315 cmh above each plant so 2 of them 1n a 2m x 4m built room. Ive seen loads of info on their benefits in lower heat but what they dont tell you is wether they emit enough heat to keep a groom hot enough without the use of a heater during lights on. Does any one here run 2 of these that can give me a heads up i,d be very gratefull, cheers ????

As far a s I understand they run cooler than HPS, so if you needed heating with HPS then you would still need it

I've got a 630 twin CMH...at the moment have only got space for a 900x900x1800 tent and with both on temps hit 41°C...one side running at the moment and I have around 31-32 lights on

No heater as tent is in a bedroom

I read A post once, where the guy said he wish he had just stayed with HPS, for some reason I can't remember.

I was very happy with my switch from hps to CMH. The HPS produces more bud. The CMH produces better quality bud. I need to use an AC all year long with my CMH. They produce a bit less heat than HPS but HPS have cool tubes and CMH do not so in the end the heat is about the same imo.
