So these are about 3 weeks old now pretty sure the Biobizz light mix soil will run out of food soon ?

Still under 250w MH at moment.

A root ball is starting to form on biggest girl maybe i should pot up soon what do you think Bud ?
This weekend may have some time to do that.

Also on about 4th node so I think first topping is due what’s your thoughts on that Bud ?

Need to flip these in approx two weeks really but will have to stay in this tent for maybe first week of flower as I had a bit of a security scare so my bigger tent out of action for a few weeks.

    Anyway some pics...

Ok mate I think background EC is 0.5 and tapwater ph is around 7.5 will check again and let you know.

One other thing with final pots I was thinking of using the 12 litre fabrics I’ve already got but I’m gonna copy the way you deal with run off, 4 garland trays below a wooden frame for 8 plants question is the way the pot sits on the frame would the fabric not be rigid enough or could I counter that by having the pots in normal saucers and drill hole in saucer so the saucer will be rigid on the frame and the water can still find a way down ?

    Hope this makes sense lol.

Your background is pretty much the same as mine so that's good for me to work with...Regards the fabric containers i've never used them so can't advise, but don't go raming the coco into them it wants to just be lightly firmed down. Think your just going to experiment with the setup see what works best for you..

Have topped 6 of the girls smaller ones only 3 nodes so gonna top them in next couple of days when they have 4th node then gonna pot up and get them into the Coco at some point over the weekend.

Also should probably get the 400w on them as need some more growth as need to flip first week of September.

Little trip to local hydro store today hope this is the right gear...

Spot on mukka....Your probably more than capable with the potting up procedure but i'll post a little tutorial with the feeding instruction a little later as it may be helpful to others

Nice one yeah post away mukka anything to make things easier always good.

I was wondering about the Biozbizz when i pot up is it best to knock off as much of the soil as I can or just put the whole root ball in the new pots ?

No mate that will cause transplant shock....You need to transfer the whole thing intact the less disruption the better. A little tip when transplanting it is to have the medium damp, this will help hold it together...Gently squeeze the sides of the pot to loosen the plant from the sides and bottom then slide the bottom of the stem between two fingers and turn the pot upside down so you are supporting the plant, keep gently squeezing the sides of the pot until the pot just lifts away....I'll demonstrate on one of my autos i've got going..

Place fingers between the stem then invert the pot...

Keep gently squeezing the sides of the pot till it comes away from the compost and root ball...

When you prepare the pot your going into use one of your pots to form the shape in the coco...Be careful not to compact the coco and be aware of the depth, you may want to go a little deeper covering more of the stem....

From one of my previous grows. This is compost to coco by the way...

    Preparing your feed solution..

Once you have your plants in their new pots you will need to water/feed them in...To prepare your feed solution let the water sit overnight. Add 2ml per litre Rhizotonic if you have it and equal amount of Canna Coco A&B till you achieve an Ec of 1.0 this will be our starting point. Adjust the pH to 5.8, in most cases you will have to add pH down to achieve this, be careful though its very potent stuff so just add it small amounts at a time you will soon get the hang of this when you have done it a few times. Make sure it is mixed well I use a pump and airstone but a good old agitation will do just as well ..Allow the mix to stand for around 1 hour and recheck the pH prior to watering...Give all the plants around 2 litres each for the initial watering...
