Thread: Purple growth.

    There have been some issues in the States with growers having purple growth along with abnormal growth. The purple from some strains seems to be related to colder temps, but the problem they are seeing looks identical to the problems they are having. The center of new growth is purple and the plant starts to grow all twisted and wrong. They usually recover but nobody seems to know the reason. Some are indoor, some outdoor, and all are different strains. It's thought to be some sort of disease, but so far there have been no hard facts.

    that purple looks more like a pheno trait along side cold night temps. I could be wrong though.

    Is there a fungus that causes this? I have a neghibour that is convinced that's what he sees. With that said he can't tell me which one why or how. Could there be some truth to this?
