    Default LED quality over watts..

My first led panel i bought was 900w then after a grow a bought a 1000w to use along with it, i did diaries and i was happy enough(links down there :P).my last grow that i didnt do a diary for, the 900w died or half the panel did so yeild was shit. So looking for a replacement i did a bit of reading and info i got in general was get quality over watts for your money so for £120 i got a VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series V450 450W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum for Indoor Plants Veg and Flower, so watt wise dropped from 900 to 450, my questions are..

    1) using 430w and unbranded 1000w will i be fine doing 5 auto flowers?
    2) should i in the future replace the 1000w unbranded for another VIPARSPECTRA Reflector-Series V450 450W ?
I am everyone and i am no one.

Have you thought about making the switch to QB LED's?

Look at the amount of light not the watts with led.

If the light doesnt specify this then its probably a poor choice

Look for umols and umols per joule. The higher the better

I have 2 ViperSpectra 450w LEDs in a 2ftx4ftx5ft tent. I had never grown indoor until last year when it became legal in my state.
So, being a novice at indoor growing, I think, for the price they are pretty decent lights.
I used them to start my plants for this years outdoor season and they where excellent for starting seedlings. 4 inch tall plants with 5 to 6 sets of leaves. When I put them outside there was absolutely no sign of shock.

I would be very vary of unbranded stuff unless the shop that sold you it backs the product.

Snag with the Viparspectras is that (unless they have updated!), they use blue-purple LEDs, which haave both up and downsides. Personally I love that colour scheme, but Invisible Sun Quantum Boards really seem to yield some pretty decent results.

Hey dude, I'm a noob so take this with a pinch of salt!

Those vipra spectra are alright, I got two oz each from 2 autos under a 600w one but the buds were abit airy. I then invested in one of the invisible sun quantum boards.

I currently have both lights running side by side in 1.2m2. Check out the difference in light the two plants on the left are looking awesome to me and they have been under the new light their whole life.

As others have said these quantum boards seem legit giving others good results but I also got a good haul with the vipra. I'm really happy with the qb though and so far think it's worth the extra money.

In terms of the 450w ones, I wouldn't want to grow more than two under one of them. Also check the actual watt of the '1000'w one with a meter or something. My 600w vipra pulls about 240 from the wall and my' '600'w unbranded pulls 100w
