    Default Magnesium? Nitrogen? Virus?

Soil or hydro or coco: Soil -- 1/3 soil conditioner (rice hulls + a little fertilizer), 1/3 soil conditioner, 1/6 peat, 1/6 worm castings, some dry fertilizer (5-5-5), kelp meal, azomite, dolomitic lime pellets

Strain: Norcal strains from local clone distributers

    Photo or Auto: Auto

Plant age: Clones were planted about 10 weeks ago

Pot size: started in 1gal, moved to 5gal after a month. Smart pots

Nutes or additives used and how often for soil: some dry fertilizer (5-5-5), kelp meal, and azomite in the soil at the start. Compost tea (worm castings, OG Biowar, molasses) every week or two (foliar and root drench). Always water with molasses unless i'm feeding tea. A bit of urine at the beginning for nitrogen. More recently, foliar feeding with kelp+worm casting tea as well.

Air temps (max min): Outdoor. Normally daytime = 70F/21C, nighttime = 55F/13C. Hottest is daytime = 80F/27F.

    Humidity: outdoors.. not sure

Ph level: Usually watering with tap water treated with vitamin C and molasses, ends up around 6.2-6.6. Runoff is higher, around 7-7.3

Plants were super happy. I was feeding compost tea (foliar and root) every week or two. I made a "super soil" so I figured with the good microbiology I wouldn't have to give them much nutes.

I started spraying with kelp a couple weeks ago. First application, they loved it. Second application about a week later, I started getting yellowing leaves soon afterward. This was also around the same time that many of them started to flower. This was about 1.5 weeks ago.

It's just been getting worse since. The leaves at the bottom of the plant get yellow, with brown spots, and then fall off. They start off getting splotchy yellow -- it's not an even shade of yellow like typical N deficiency. The yellow is quickly moving up the plants. There's also some little bits of rust here and there.

The past few days I've sprayed with Epsom Salts and given a bit more urine, thinking that it might be a Magnesium or Nitrogen deficiency. I haven't seen any improvement yet, but it's only been a couple days.

Please help! This is my first real grow and I'm afraid I'm going to lose all of my babies

They look good to me Bread. I wouldn't worry so much about A few bottom leaves falling off. Less is more on the Feeding. It does look like it might need a dose of espom salt, but you said you have already done that so just give them some time and carry on. JMO

Hi bread_sand, the plants look healthy enough, I would be careful with using urine as a fertilizer...although it does contain Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium it's the PH fluctuations that may cause problems..problems which would be felt MUCH more in pots rather than outdoors growing which would be far better. Our urine can fluctuate between 4.5 to 8.0..so unless you're checking the PH of your urine you could be harming your plants in the long run.

In pots it can be a 'piss poor' substitute for other nutes ..lol sorry I just had too

Oh and just our of curiosity, have you been diluting the urine before using for your plants?...if you continue to use it, I'd advise diluting it at least and it really is too strong for potted plants for sure.

I actually haven't used the urine since close to the beginning, and then this week to try to fix the problems I'm seeing. For the most part I haven't been feeding nutes at all. When I do feed the urine, I dilute it between 1:10 and 1:20, depending on what concentration I need to get the pH of the solution in a good range.

I didn't know about the pH fluctuations in urine! That makes sense though... sometimes just a little bit will drop my water pH massively, other times not so much.

I wouldn't be worried about the plants if it was just a few leaves... but each plant has probably lost like 6 fan leaves, some of those leaves being pretty big ones. And the yellowness is moving up the plant, especially the splotchiness that you see in the 3rd and 4th pictures. I'm just worried that the yellowing is gonna keep moving up the plant and I'm gonna lose all my fan leaves ??
