Hey guys, been growing for 10+ years but I’ve never done autos! They seem to be much more stable and can yield 3-5oz a plant now grown right.
So, I’m thinking for my winter grow in my 2.4/1.2 tent is a Sea Of Green in a coco auto dripped/drain setup.

I’d like to do a short & stocky strain which yields well...anyone for first hand experience on recommending a strain/s?

I’m thinking of doing 9 in 3x3 configuration but with small 1gal/4 litre fabric pots. As I’ve seen a plant been grown in a 2L Pepsi bottle yield 5+ so surely 4 litres of coco is sufficient for a short plant?

What sort of EC strength do they usually like?

My lighting I have a mix of 315 CDM, 100 CREE LED’s, 600hps & a UVR8 bulb so depending on the winter temps I can add more light if needed to keep the temps up for 20 hours rather than having the heater on.

Ideally I’d like to try and beat my record of 43oz in that tent but that was 8 photoperiod plants, any tips or tricks or other better suited ideas welcome.

There are numerous members on here pulling 6+ from autos. (6 x 8 = record smashed). So, stick to a large tent and lower the numbers ... eh :-) and train the cr@p out of them. Give each girl space

The boys using Quantum Boards are consistently pulling huge yields now...... 12+ per plant.

    Combine the two... I am."

You are very unlikely to beat your record... but no harm in trying

Usually my autos like a lower EC than photoperiods....

I’m thinking of doing 9 a side so 18 in total in 3x3 configuration but with small 1gal/4 litre fabric pots. As I’ve seen a plant been grown in a 2L Pepsi bottle yield 5+ so surely 4 litres of coco is sufficient for a short plant?

With the correct training I think you can smash that - no offence M_C ;-)

I grew Hubbabubbasmellascope and got 14.8 oz, Fugue State over 9! Both Mephisto Genetics.

My Orange Diesel will be 9+ at a guess. Day 100.

Diaries in sig to show :-)

    None taken

The limiting factor could be the pot size though....

I’d consider growing less plants if your looking for advice here mate.

Ah yes! completely forgot about the 8 plant rule...so let’s say I use my 1.2 tent instead of 2.4 and put 8 autos in it.
