Thanks mate. I really wouldn’t know what im doing with all that. Am looking at some P5 Tongue & Groove Chipboard Floor Panels (L)2400mm (W)600mm (T)22mm.

You rekon these will be ok? Im Just wanting a little floor to put the tent on.

Im thinking of getting a couple of quotes off joiners to do the floor, or a mate of mine may be able to do it, but ill be saying its just for loft storage obviously. Cheers for the help mate. This is the stuff im looking at Click image for larger version.

Honestly mate...it would probably be a good idea to get someone who knows...its not a thing you want to bodge really

It really depends on your roof construction and span of upstairs ceiling joists...chipboard is heavy stuff, if you just put it down without knowing...you'll end up wearing your tent in bed one night.

Joist hangers from Purlins (if you have them) would be the way to do it...a lot of houses don't though.

    Pics would help

If youre nervous going in now...how you gonna grow in there you dont have to go up and walk about, just a pic of the woodwork

Its not the only stuff but its the easiest to work with...and its cheap
