Default Answered: Does my extractor fan need to be on 24/7??

Hi this I my first time grow indoors and I haven't a clue how long I should run my extractor fax and oscillating fan.
Do I need an intake fan or will an open vent leak smell?
I'm looking to go 100% smell free outside the tent so any tips will be much appreciated

  2. "Run the extractor constant as it will cause you major problems otherwise.

Always runs negative pressure. So no smell can emit.

Personally I always run my internal fans constant.

We are creating an environment. Like a fish tank. Stable and constant is the key.

I run my lights 24/7 too as autos. I would run your Fems the same till switch.

In the UK? Buy a dehumidifier now."

You need to extract all the time & oscillating fans are good

Intakes all depend on dimensions of room, light size/type, extraction used

Ultimately you need a fan controller to do this proper. They cost. They will be quiet.

They do work .. keep things silent and negative pressure.

I use the Rhino therm controller and frankly it does the job but is sh*t in hot weather.
