    Good info on coco here.

    https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/top...2&share_type=t

The bit I'm talking about is this though...

But since coconut palms tend to grow in salty environments, mainly near the ocean, the first commercially available coco products had nearly plant-toxic levels of salts that required the coco to be flushed with gallons of water before it was ever used.

Today, makers of coco products, like Canna, Botanicare and others, have enacted intensive rinsing and aging regimens to produce coco with as little residual salt as possible, making it unnecessary for the grower to flush the coco before transplanting.

Alot of people use canna coco pro plus because its rinsed and buffered straight out the bag. You can do this yourself with the bricks but it's a good few more steps mate.

Ahh balls... Effort of rinsing my coco with gallons of water and calmag. I might just chance it without it if I don't get the money for canna plus... I know coco I cheap but I'm that broke lol thanks for the links mate!

Been there mate and I feel yer pain lol. Put it this way though, seeds aren't the cheapest and starting with dodgy coco will give a good chance of failure.

Trust me mate most of us on here have tried to get by at some point buying cheap and it usually comes round and bites you square in the arse lol.

What is your complete setup btw, and I would take ladymaryjanes offer to help bud having someone to help you out at this stage is valuable as fuck.

You need a 10ml pipette. Then you should be able to kick off.

You definately need ph down... Uk tap water ... too high for a+b especially early on at seedling stage. Very few will get by.

Heres what you need if you go with canna.

    Canna coco A
    Canna coco B
    Canna rhizotonic
    Canna pk 13/14

And a calmag supplement I use plant magic calmag.

That's everything you need to get a really good harvest mate. If you need to drop one out then drop the pk you wont need that till flower.

To be complete I would add liquid silicone as it makes a big difference. I would recommend Buddhas Tree Solar Power. Makes big branches!

Cheers mate I'm gonna do that and wait until flower for pk.

Do I need calmag because I'm not growing in soil? I think remember being told I don't need it because of our water type?

Can make your own Wilma type system for pennies mate.
Big tub with a lid, shitty little recirc pump from amazon, light timer, some scillicone tubing and a drip ring.
Chuck the pump in the tub.
    Drill holes in the lid.
Sit plants on top of it.
Attach tubing and feed ring to pump and sit ring on top of pot.
Plug pump into light timer and set to go off 2 or 3 times a day for 15 minits.
    Done.
All in about £30 and you never have to feed a plant again. Just fill the tub when it runs low. If you get the feed the right strength you wont need to adjust the pH outwith top up or res change day.
Coco growing is rediculously easy mate. Just feed quarter strength nutes and try your hardest to drown them.
Absolute doddle compared to soil. other than having to spend 5 minits a couple times a week mixing nutes you can just leave them to it.

Definately! Scillica is a godsend. Got so many benefits it's unreal. I'd never grow without it.
