    Flicking through google but havent seen anything with much of a resemblance... looks octagon in the last pic too

    Yeah it's an elephant so would probably suggest Indian, it's actually the Fat Lads coin been ar my house for years though.

    The Roman empire stretched out very far eh From the British Isles all the way to pakistan and afrika at one point . They had many cultures under their empire . The indian coins im seeing the elephant is different . And the back of the coin definetly seems Roman .

    That is pretty cool G' bro, maybe join up on one of those coin collectors forums and ask around there..might be able to tell you what it's worth..if they start making offers, don't sell it straight away (if you do actually want to sell it), make sure you get multiple 'expert' opinions on it first..might be worth a lot more than you realise, I'm hoping for you guys anyway

    Cheers brother there's actually a few of these on Ebay prices ranging in average £50 there are some in the hundreds but these seem to be the normal thickness coins I suppose a lot will depend on date and condition, cheers mukka's. G'.
