    Default Trunk rot?

Hello all. I have a green garden that is about 4' round with trunk that looks like it is rotting. Any thoughts? Damping off?

Hmm, this is bad, I don't think at this stage you can do anything about it other than making sure to stabilize it, to help stop it from splitting, perhaps more ties.

I'd also be inclined to not water near her base when you do water her, make sure to leave a dry ring around her stem...you MIGHT get away with this and she'll reach the end...keeping my fingers crossed for you!

I had similar to this on a stem. I used 99.9% anti bacterial hand gel. It kills the fungal spores off, it will also dry out the nasty bit of affected stem. Paint a bit around the stem and support the stems more. Looks to be honest like an old snap that has repaired, but you will know if it rot of some kind. Either way that plant will provide you weed of some kind.

100% it was an old snap. Was agressavley training and well ya lol. I guess it would be safe to assume I did this by feeding the split? I have since stopped that and the rot has seemed to slow and hardening up.
