I use HPS in the winter. 600w per metre keeps my temps up enough in tents. I also do autos so I can keep the lights on 18/6. Turn em off 10am-4pm when my heating is on anyway.
I'm in Scotland and our Rh drops shortly too so it's never been an issue for me during the winter. Only when it's too low for veg which doesn't exactly do much harm anyway.
    Hey Scots.

My tent is 80x80x180 with a cob led so not much heat coming from that. I got my lights running through the night too.
Hopefully a dehumidifier sorts me out for winter.

Thanks mate I'm not as worried now about fitting it in the tent. My RH is pretty much the same inside and out of the tent.
Btw I live in an old cottage in Ireland mate

Yeah don't think I'd be switching cobs for hps iether mate. Be better off with the heater etc.

Yeah mate this light seems to be good and a hps would send my electric bill sky high
Would it be okay to leave the heater outside the tent too? I might not fit an oil one in the tent but will fit a greenhouse tube heater.
