Default Anyone fancy a micro hydro grow off?

Howdy troops , it's bothered me for a while now that every forum does micro media grow offs.
Here it's the mug challenge, others it's usually red solo cups.
The rules are always the same though.
Must be nothing other than holes drilled in the bottom.
No recircs, no air pumps, hempys or wick systems etc etc etc.

Would anyone be interested in a micro hydro comparison grow off?

Rules something along the lines of..

Must use at most 750ml of roots space.
I plan to use a 750ml Bucky bottle and it's my idea lol.

    NO SOIL!

Must be somewhere in the category of hydro growing.
Dwc, ebb and flow, NFT , Coco DTW, Wilma recirc type set and tiny autopot up is fine.
No limits on reservoir size as long as the roots only have 750ml of space.

Air pruning might cause concern for some but say a rule of exposed roots are ok as long as there's nothing for them to grow onto.

A "not touching, can't get mad" kinda rule.

I'm still at the thought process stage but think it would be a cool thread.
Lots of hydro growers around so what you reckon troops?

    Anyone game for challenge?
Obviously no prizes involved other than bragging rights and some virtual, high fives but could be a fun thread.

It's not something I've tried before or seen on a forum so we could get some interesting results. Seen a couple guys hit the 4oz mark in the solo cups so adding unlimited air etc could potentially do a lot more.
If we get a bit of interest I'll take folks opinions on rules etc and see what happens.

Any thoughts or suggestions greatly appreciated folks

These guys would crucify you.... they have spent months doing a 330ml grow & you offer a gauntlet of 750ml?

I did say rules were up for discussion mate. If 330ml is the standard round here for mini grows then so be it.
Why so negative though? Same as the other guy.
What do forums have against mini hydro grow offs?
Why does it have to be hand fed with nothing other than drainage holes?

It's not so much negativity, these guys love the small grows, but they've been overwhelmed a bit over the last year... I think they just need some proper grow time before starting again

Haha no-one is being negative here EvilScotsm@n I promise, as M_C said..I think we just need a breather

Oh and I didn't have any drainage holes btw

Nothing at all wrong with your suggestion..would certainly watch a grow off like that.

Because its the most challenging way so more of an accomplishment mate. Not knocking the thought but it seems an autofed hydro set up wouldnt be as difficult

No negativity and 150ml would be the next bar!

Just need a break and a holiday. Micro grows and a competitive spirit are very very hard work.

Also agree - autofed would be dull. No challenge what so ever.

Best thing I ever did to hand feed a lady throw her life. Subtle but huge differences as I am sure most will know throughout the life cycle. A good learning lesson for me. (Automatic lazy @rse!)
