Just a quick update as we hit the 6th week of flower. Buds are still fattening on 4 with Strawberry Cough being the only weirdo that's still stretching. Damn thing is 30 inches. I think it's slowing/stopping now though.

Just checked on them today, was surprised how much they smell today.

A couple of questions. Durban Poison seems to have slightly paler leaves which seem quite brittle, it doesn't look like n deficiency though, there are some brown marks on the odd leaf too but overall the plant looks good and the buds are still fattening. Any idea what causes brittle leaves? Could it need a but if magnesium? (I fed it 3 times in flower with mag) RH is 49 to 59, temps are 23 to 27c this week.

Also the pistels on Oldtimers, Sour Diesel and Malawi have started to go brown at almost 7 weeks flower. Does this mean they will finish first? Just odd as DP is supposed to finish first but it's all pale still. Worried I might have had a hermie in there and fertilised them (I'm a worrier). I've only had 3 grows so I can't remember when they are supposed to start turning brown.

Right, had a few issues with Durban Poison. Possibly a mix of light burn and pH issues caused by adding cal mag to soil but we seem OK now so hopefully it won't stunt it much. Got a bit of light burn on Sour Diesel but nothing serious. Took a few pics for you can see progress. We will be 8 weeks into flower in two days time.

Loving the smells coming from tent, doesn't honk like traditional weed smell. There's sort of a tutti fruity incense thing going on in there!

Some pics of Ace Malawi, the baby of the bunch. Not sure if I created a bonsai with all that lst, it looks like a little Acer. Smells bloody weird though, like spice and meat (can't say I care for it but it's the effects I'm bothered with).

This is Oldtimer x Amnesia Haze which I got from subbing to another site. It smells kinda like mango and wood and is the second shortest plant only being 21 inch tall. It's very shiney

Ive been growing a series of Amnesia crosses and all of them have been short. Good yielders but short. Mine have all been Autos though.

Update as we are almost on 10th week. Unfortunately I had some issues with light burn and had to take lights right up. It seems most of them became light sensitive in late flower so I've damaged leaves. I've noticed now we are in late flower they are sucking up nitrogen and going yellow now.

I've picked a bud of durban and sour diesel to sample as I think this is the best way of determined if they smoke is where I like it.

I loved Durban it was a very lively happy high that made me laugh a couple of stoner friends tried it too and thought it was brill. It has an odd taste a bit like ansie and mango with an earthy smell.

Sour Diesel I think is too early, it has a lush sweet taste and is smooth but the high just isn't there. I found it energetic but not not very trippy. I reckon this one wants another 2 to 3 weeks. Loved the taste, hopefully it will power up.

I'll sample the others shortly. Gonna take a bit of old timers x haze as someone warned me that finishes quick too. Strawberry Cough looks amazing, huge colas but no where near done yet. Another two weeks for that and all. I think Malawi is still fattening it's budds, I thought ut was done but recently it's fattened again so I'll leave it be.

Well say goodbye to Durban Poison, I've chopped it at 11 weeks after sampling at 10 it was pretty good so gave it another week under uv. I've grown it indoors and no problems with it going hermie which I was worried about but it's been a pleasure to grow. Hard to believe this was the seedling that stretched so much it nearly snapped in two lol. Trichomes are mainly cloudy with just a few clear and the odd Amber.

Smoked a bit last night that I took down a week ago and it's awesome after a longer dry. Really powerful head high and I can be quite functional which is unusual for me. Smells a little like sweet licorice and fruit and tastes good, very easy to override paranoia and not too bad with munchies either.

I also have tried a sample bud of Malawi, old timers x amnesia and Sour Diesel.

Malawi was actually quite similar to Durban but more trippy, definitely one for a hike I reckon and heightening senses.

Old timers, now I didn't right like this I think it's a bit early. I had a very powerful high that totally couch locked me and gave me munchies. Trichomes are still mainly clear so this one's getting another couple of weeks and hopefully it will mellow out a bit. I found it very hard to do f all on this as it is lol

Sour Diesel was nice but the high was a little underwhelming and mellow. I think this one isn't ready yet, another one with clear thrichomes. Tastes lovely and sweet like candy though.

I have yet to try strawberry as it's only this week its pistels started to go brown and buds have stopped swelling. Hope it's as good as people say because the bids on this thing are awesome.

I'll update again with more smoke reports as we slow dry and cure

Oh yeah, for an experiment I left some of the smaller less developed buds on Durban to see if they gain any weight now exposed to light.
