Just want to check im not rusty and wrecking my seedlings.

So i germed some seeds and they were hanging around waiting for some other seed to germ before i put them under a 250watt blue cfl, 8 inches away.

They have had 3 days of this light in a dialed in groom.

I have been feeding them from day 4 of them popping up above coco.

My back ground ec is 0.4 and i have been bringing that up to 0.6 just flashing into 0.8 (blulab truncheon)

Whilst there has been growth, its very small and slighty yellow. This is what i do when using coco to germ and not really had any problems.

But this is when the doubt set in, do i normally do that?? I've had a lot going on health wise (as usual) and my eldest (20) is causing grief big time taking 20 x 2cb whatever the fuck that is!!! amongst other nasty shit. So my head is kinda full and i'm liable to mess up the grow.

How do others feed their very small seedlings when they pop up. Mine is hand to waste watering but i've not got to the point of total saturation as yet due to small seedlings = small roots

If anyone can help i'd be over the moon. These are a week since cracking and only just starting a second (inner) set of leaf.

Am i overdoing the nutes or under doing them....

Oh also i have been giving 2 ml per litre of rhizotonic should i up this? i dont see roots out the bottom.

Sorry to hear of your woes.

I reckon you are overdoing it.

0.2EC tops at your stage. If you see yellow then definately too hot. 5.8 PH.

I use a+b along with rhizo, cal mag and liquid silicon. But as said very low levels.

Dial it down is my advise. Less is more :-)

I only use 0.8 ml per litre ever :-) All the way through. Never change.

Whats best action then, make a new feed of a lesser amount?

Are we on about canna rhizo 4 mls per litre ?

0.8 seems very small amount for entire grow, how come?

I only use about 1/4 dosage. That is all they need IME.

You see, I use RO water, which helps. Starting at 0.4EC you have no headroom really with seedlings!
