    Default mixing nutrients

am I right with the procedure to mix water for plants.

1 leave 2 buckets of water to stand for 24hrs to get rid of the chlorine.
2 put feeds, boosts, etc. in with water in 1 of the buckets and check ec.
3 adjust ec by adding water from the other bucket to correct if readings are to high.
    4 adjust ph to suit.
    5 feed your plants

please someone correct me if I am wrong about this

do you correct your ec before adjusting your ph?

Yeah that is it in a nutshell.

I prefer to add liquid silicone 24 hrs before cal mag and then a+b. I then leave 12 hrs, before adding the rest... e.g. rhizo/PK

I then leave 12 hrs and check EC.

I rarely need to dilute as I know the ml/lt I want.

I then slam pH to 5.8 always. No lower or higher. Normally I screw this up and end up using bicarb of soda or dilution. Watch your EC with these two methods.

sometimes things are so simple and you overlook them.
like leaving the water out over night.

I did this from day one cos used to keep fish and know about chlorine but anyway.

I am using vitalink hydro, silicone, rootstim, fulvic, turbo, buddy

    Me too, love keeping fish.

Not sure on your nutes, but start with the silicone when you mix is my opinion - as the least soluble.
