    Spider farmer are a spin off of Viparspectra/Mehzhi. Budget / entry level and host a full range upto quantum board copies that are very popular at the moment.

    At 150-200 budget you could do a lot worse in terms of watts per £ spent but are by no means the best lights out there. Not just going to say they are bad.

    Thanx man.. always good to hear the good and the bad..I think Its the same price as the ts1000 or similar priced I'm thinking of getting the ts1000 as its tried and tested already so..

    Pretty much as above pal, its a budget light that performs well for the money. What lights have you used before?

    Just hps started on a 250 years ago feels like a life time ago lol n a 600 hps that I've just taken out using a little 100 led for seedlings till I order it.. but won't have much use in a couple weeks from now.. So yeah I'm sold on the mars can always add another if I really needed I'll be growing two blackberry gums in a 120 by 120 by 200 tent never thaught will the mars cover that area OK I'm new to led pretty much old school grower ya know hps soil n tubs that kind lol..

    Well id say 1 ts1000 (150w) will roughly match a 250w hps. Not measured myself but seen reviews putting them at 2.2umol per watt.s which is quantum board territory.

    Apparently they use lower bin leds from the big manufacturers and do theyre own certification. Thats better than claiming to use the real mccoys when youre not.

    My tent comes Monday so I've started going up in the world lol.. been using the corner of a spare room lately or cupboards in the past with hps lamps.. So next purchase is leds but has to be 150 200 quid.. Maybe I can upgrade later but for now think I'm gonna go with the mars... Thanx for chiming in guys ...
