Dunno if theres a best option. I prefer getting it all done and hanging in one go just to get it out of the way as it usually takes 4 to 6 hours just for a couple plants.

I tried dry trimming once and found it very difficult as all the leaves shrivel up making it a pain in the ass.I vape weed so tend to keep most of the sugar leaves on the bud but with dry trimming I found trying to get some of the other smaller fan leaves a nightmare to cut off so wet trimming for me.

I prefer wet trimming before the flush.

The more foliage you leave attached the slower the dry will be. Time=quality so with that in mind I can only assume you will lose quality if you wet trim. When mine are done I am likley to wet trim as I don't want to wait till Christmas to roll a smoke.

I will add that this opinion is soley from reaserch. I am new to this too
