    Im having issues with swings too

    Ive found bubbling the water in a prereservoir for a few days first helps settle things down. Local water chemistry can be a bitch. If you are not careful, one splash of ph down too much destroys the waters own buffering capability and then its all over the place.

    Get it down with your nutes and then add just enough ph down first time. Sometimes its best to chuck and start again than to keep readjusting.

    Do you know if 0.31 ec is hard water mate?

    Its difficult to say as you are in the middle. Just give a try and see.

    Something like canna coco ab is good for 70% of UK water

    Great. Ur pen does indeed measure ec - thats the second number you showed. ~300 us (mili siemens = 0.3 ec)
