Sorry Gardro I missed this. The ratio of deep to far is 2-1.

    Hi Gardro its Rich,

you know me well enough to pick up the phone an have a conversation with me about our products instead of picking on Kev youre a forum bully , the numbers on the site, actually come to think of it i haven't heard from you in a while.

But in answer to your questions

2-1 is the ratio we settled on after testing numerous ratios, as you know with previous discussions we have been working on these since last November, no we haven't written a white paper on it for you Gardro.
Interestingly though we shipped 320 of them to Isreal this month . We look forward to some nice data back on that.

The whites on the strip feed the reds as they are not on a separate rail, interestingly we actually have a product on route with complete spectrum control but enough said about that. The strips as stated on the website are 2.19 umols/J when utilising the cri90 whites, the sphere test was also done at 1050mA without a heatsink.

There are many benefits for adding deep an far red combination as you know, namely, increased metabolism which leads to increased photosynthesis by the emerson effect. Another added benefit is that by having the whites included on the strip rather than it just being an exotic strip is that you can add a bit of additional light which never hurt and additionally it benefits as add on to the diy frame kits we do, extra light in flower is always a bonus. We chose the CRI90 option of the LM301H to add more colour depth to the strip.

Results we see from using them in our testing (again no white paper im afraid) are the following

    Denser more swollen buds

    Faster harvest

    Earlier Trich production

If you have any more questions about it call me on the office line

Only asking. Sometimes what some are asking others are thinking.

If Kev feels bullied, then tell him i thought it was you.
I wouldn't say bullied as that's something that's never happened to me physically or virtually.

I just thought you were trying to discredit our products. Adding these in at £60-£70 and using them for 6-7 years is hardly gonna cost you pennies. I would say that they will make you many more £s. As you know though we don't condone the use of our lights for illegal purposes.

    Kind Regards

Sorry to get involved here but I must say that nothing gardro wrote here came across as trying discredit or bully anyone to me personally, this is from a biased point of view, sometimes words over the internet can be easily misconstrued

Sounds good. You were asking these questions intimating that you were seriously considering a purchase when I believe you weren't.

I honestly consider that to be time wasting. If you had asked based upon wanting us to provide info to help people, that's different.

Anyway I'm spending time I don't have on this now.

All the best and thanks for your enquiry
