    Default Answered: Air pot dilemma

Ok so i was a lazy bastard on my last grow, i got ill again and needed a pic me up via hospital, my mental health was low.....

Suffice to say things got neglected big time.

I went looking for my 20 ltr air pots over the week end and could not find them, confused as fuck i know i have loads of them.

Anyway the mystery is resolved, they were left down the side of the house (still full of coco and main stem ffs) under a sheet. They have been hugely weathered and soiled and contaminated with eggs n shit.

Is there any way of cleaning them up to the point i am not in any danger of getting ill plants etc. I have bleach and some of that nutrient cleaner stuff iu could use to get the salts off and bleach to killlo and bugs etc. Is this a good idea or should i go spend 50-60 quid on new ones...

Man i swear this happens too often.

A good scrub with hot water and some washing up liquid should sort it smoby, followed by a rinse off with kettle water. Just make sure you strip them down so you can get in all the areas.

I had an arrangement with a mate as my air pots would fit in his dishwasher but mine was just a bit too small

Just make sure you clean them up first & the women will never know

I only have a small table top dishwasher.... I can, if I take them apart & wrap them tighter, get them in but it doesn't get them clean properly... but a full size dishwasher works fine
