Hi denise, you can purchase some 'ona' pots that some use to help with smells, but honestly nothing will remove the smell except good filtering of your room/tent with the carbon filter, so how are you growing?..where and what size is your extraction fan and filter etc?

If its a newish filter, make sure your duct is connected properly. N make sure you have negative pressure in the tent.
If its an old filter.....might need replacing.
If the smell is just leaking out each time you go in and out of tent.....get some ona blocks like Ice mentioned.

I agree with the guys a good filter is the only certain way and also as RASTA said if the smell is just off when you open up the tent to feed etc' get something to mask that smell, i've just dried a box of bud in my bedroom and it stunk to the high heavens in there so i use on of those electric wax melts outside of the bedroom and keep it topped up and running 24/7 had workmen in the house for short periods of time this past week and they have only ever commented on the nice smell of vanilla, good luck and all the best, G'.

Incidentally, I must of knocked my fan speed controller off before I went out yesterday and when I came back, the whole of upstairs was stinking! Its amazing really how well these filters work and a decent CF and fan is essential.

Hello denise, some great advise being given by the members here above...the fan may be underpowered for your tent size, I personally would have gone for at least a 5-inch extraction fan in that space, can you tell me, does the tent walls suck in a little?..you need good negative pressure to stop the smells from escaping

Yes you absolutely do need a filter for your extraction fan denise, you have it hooked up to the intake?

Got a pic? Better to have an outlet ... tent -> filter -> fan> out of tent

Otherwise you cannot get negative pressure which means you are blowing smell out.
