    Default Neem oil

    Hi can I use neem oil on buds they’ve only just starting budding week 3 into flower. Just noticed a few spider mites on 1 plant out off 6. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

    Ok so this is a pic from 2 weeks ago?

    I personally would not feel comfortable using any spray on my flowering girls, but some might say it's still early enough, wait around for some more opinions

    Here are two great guides for neem sprays if you decide to use ;

    redisiel - IPM(intergrated pest management) - Clicky

    Gaz - Neem and soapnuts quick guide - Clicky

    Some also use Bug Clear Ultra, which is a spray you can purchase but you'll need to do some research and decide whether or not you'd like to use it as it's a systemic insecticide (it flows through the plant).

    Others have had great success with Hot Shot No-Pest Strips...but again another that some feel could be harmful to your health so do some research before use!

    You can also purchase some predatory mites which will control them too, check into these ;

    Phytoseiulus persimilis

    Amblyseius californicus

    Amblyseius andersoni

    Feltiella acarisuga

    Oh and if using the sprays ;

    Spray during lights on..wait for around an hour for the plants stomata in the leaves to be fully open, but be sure to raise your lights and make sure it's well ventilated, then when dry you can bring them back down to avoid scorching.
