    Default Cmh lights?

    Evening all,

    I'm considering trying a 315w cmh light a try for my next grow. Will be over 3 poss 4 plants in a 1m x 1m x 1.8m High space.

Anyone running cmh? What do u think of them? Can I run them all the way through like I would a hps?

    Cheers dudes

I tried a 350 once and its nowhere close to the same results as hps etc. It would probably work fine on one plant but I can't see good results for 3 or 4. Just my opinion.

been using cmh for last 2 years almost, like anything it takes a bit of learning but theyre the "norm" for me now, doubt ill use any of my hps gear now.

mind, take into account i grow in unusual circumstances, lots of power cuts and massively alternating temps and humidity but i always get tasty weed so if it isnt broken...

i have leds as well but only to counter global warming during summer.

personally if i could afford it id have two seperate units, for coverage etc but i do 3 full bush autos happily under the one setup.note thats 3 full autos under one little 315watt lamp..pretty good on the pocket

cant say anything about the other options, paying hundreds/thousands for lamps isnt in my vocabulary im afraid.

theres more to growing well than posh expensive lamps, specially in the uk,this will affect the results you get with the cmh

Ive got 6 flowering photos at the moment under a 630w twin with 3500k bulbs so good for both veg & bloom...3 things i've noticed over HPS...less stretch, more resin & bulbs 3 x the price...temps are no different as far as I can tell...tasty quality buds all the same

Had 10 photos on the last grow in the same 1.5m tent and before I had to early chop, they were looking great...not tried autos yet but they're coming soon...
