    Default What's this on roses?

    hey herbalists

    Off topic question here.

    Noticed a few these crawling around on our Roses. Anyone know what it is? Ants? If so, can they destroy the plant ? ????

    Can I use the treatment that Gaz created: https://www.thctalk.com/cannabis-for...ight=soap+nuts

    Hello Naz007, that is indeed an ant, although the ant itself can't harm the rose, they actually farm other insects, carrying them..then massaging them to take a crap, which they eat, problem is these little bugs can carry diseases and cause problems in large numbers, stick some ant bait traps down near the base of the rose to keep them under control. Then mix a solution of roughly 1 litre of water, couple drops of washing up liquid, mix it up and spray it on your leaves when you see them.

    To the left of the picture I see aphids, so get them sprayed as well
