Curing dealer's bud

hey guys, now and then I still purchase weed from my dealer. Obviously, I have no idea how it was cultivated, dried or even cured.

Do you think it's a good idea to cure these another 5 days when I receive it? i.e. place it in a jar and burp it for 10 mins each day for a week? Will this help increase the potency and smell of it? just like maturing a bottle of wine.

Dont see the point as it's always rushed, over fed and chopped early!

The one ever time I bought, it was brown and crispy. Airy, and zero effects. If you have green bud from your dealer, cure it, why not. Perhaps put some lemon rind in there to give it some flavour too?
