The hps light will still be there with the addition of the led. Just extra photons hitting those plant pigments mate - all good.

Some say the cooler temps help bring out colours, flavours and trichomes.

A warmer led will not really make any difference against all that warm hps.

Dont spend too much money on em pal unless they are cheap. As said you may see a small difference"

The extra wavelengths from the cooler colour will be welcomed by the plant but you could go for a lower number for flower if you like.

Get it close and concentrate on one bud site and it will have some impact

I have been adding Viparspectra LED to my HPS for a while now but have now decided to drop it I did kid myself it made a significant difference but after matbe 5-6 grows I no longer think it is worth the hassle and extra electricity. The plants in direct firing line of both HPS and LED were no better than the plants which were getting hit by hardly any LED.

The idea sounds great on paper but in my case at least it did not do much, in fact my best grow to date was achieved after I removed the LED
TO GROW A PLANT YOU NEED TO THINK LIKE A PLANT
