    Default Humidity drying issue

    hi everyone

I'm going to be harvesting soon. My issue is that I live in a small house with limited space and I don't have a drying room area, (1) one of the places I could try is my loft (see attached) (the insulation is in the corners) but the issue is according to my thermometer / hygrometer the temp / humidity is ranging 20-22 celsius degrees and 62-65%.

    2) I have a computer desk and I was thinking of using a blackout blanket to cover the desk all the way to the floor and creating a string to hang the buds to dry. Again, it's ranging 20-22 celsius degrees and 62-65% humidity. I've also used a dehumidifier on there too, doesn't make much difference.

Could I still get away with 60-65% humidity? Will it cause bud rot?

Worst case scenario, if all else fails, I’ll have to take the buds to another house.

Thanks for any advice / tips.

Ive done a couple of dry's in a cardboard box inside my tent before when Ive had 2-3 plants on the go and one finishes earlier than the others. As long as you have air movement,(but not a fan pointed directly at the drying buds,) Ive often dried buds at 60-65 humidity and not had any issues, there is a risk of mould though.Only time I had a mould issue is when i had the buds still too moist when I put them in jars for the cure. Air flow is key though, best of luck!

Yeah as Kurdt says..once you have done everything you can to lower humidity, then it's all about the air flow..it can really help

thanks for your experienced knowledge. I've decided to take the under the desk route and have a fan pointing towards the wall and the buds hanging on string. I'll post a pic once I've got it setup.

    hey guys.

I've just trimmed the buds and placed them under my desk with a few dark blankets ensuring that there's no light coming in. (see attachment)

Is my setup ok? the fan is hitting the left wall and I've got a dehumidifier running.

    1) I'm planning on using the sugar leaves in a joint, I've separated all into a paper bag, how should I store these?

    2) What do I do with soil in the pot, can it be reused?

    Thanks

You'll have to sterilise and regenerate the soil before re using.
