Default Answered: Can anyone recommend a LED?

Hi all, now I’ve got my second tent up and running only a small 60cmx60cmx120cm.
I’m looking for a LED light to take me from seedlings to week 3/4. Can anyone recommend anything for me please.
I’m not looking to spend a fortune just need something to get them going

Either Cree cbx3590 COB or Samsung Quantum Board you need about 200w of leds to light efficiently costs are about $200 if you order from china..

Done a good few grows in a 60x60. Have a bit of a soft spot for it tbh haha

What light are you using for flowering? I use either a migro 100 or 2x60w invisible sun boards and often both towards the end of flower but it's too intense for the space so run about 150-200w depending on temps.

If you have the cash I'd go for one of those R type 150 boards. If not, I saw 90watt panels for 40 quid. Be less than 100 quid and I'd expect 3+ zips.

If your really tight, can make a DIY strip build.

HlG100 would be my suggestion. 200w of LED in that space is way too much in my opinion.

Even though I use the ISH150 Pro for most of my grow, I still use my cheapo Meizhi 300w LED for the first few weeks from seedling to mid veg and they do really well under it, cracking little light from the old LED styles.

You'll fry them.. Regardless of heat, especially in the first few weeks. Waste of money.

Check out the veg footprint on the hlg100, 36"x36" and it'll do every bit of that.

Ive got a little 300w viparspectra that vegs the same space just as well but not as efficiently
