Anyone using plastic containers? I have a bad track record of breaking glass.

Plastic breathes air so not really airtight and plastic releases microscopic plastic particles over time.

Wonder how long they would have to be stored to be an issue?

I would have sworn food grade plastic would be fine. All the legal markets sell in plastic containers. Not being argumentative, I'm just surprised.

Glass it is then. Ikea has those cheap jars I'll pick up a couple for my next harvest. I have lots of mason jars too.

Not for long term storage, it sticks to the plastic, for A short period of time, I guess it would be all right, but long time it sweats. JMO

The only way I know of storing in plastic, is those plastic bags that are air tight seal, and store in the Freezer. But not good for Jars sitting out in normal temps.

Definitely Kilner type jars with silicon seal for all of your jams, preserve and weed.
