    Default Plant magic Bio-Silicon

Hi guys, in need of a little advice.

I have plant magic bio silicon and I'm growing in soil, adding 1ml of silicon per litre spikes my PH from 7.4 to 10
2 so I'm not comfortable putting it through the medium or am I being soft? I know soil buffers the PH to a certain point but I'm wondering if i should pop to be hydro shop and get some PH down instead.

I use 1ml per litre vegging in soil and have had no issues yet

Stopped checking PH & EC a while ago, use the same nuits and soil and plants always seem happy

I'm exactly in the same boat as you Amnesia auto, first time trying it and could not believe how much my PH went up and was worried 100%, using only 0.25mlpL, seems to be fine but my girls are having issues anyway so difficult to judge on this grow.

AND which soil are you using mate?

Yeah I'm seeing mixed opinions about it.. to be fair before i had my PH meter I used it anyway and like AND said had no problems, just knowing the PH its at is quite off putting..

So I've decided as i have two Cindy's I'm gonna go ahead and use PH down on one of the cindys and the rest of the garden and just the silicon without PH down on the one Cindy and see what/if differences.. I will be keeping the progress updated on here and on my diary.

    Thanks lads.

What dosage are you guys wanting? From what EC?

    Apart from week 1 - 3 I use at 2.5ml per 5 lt. I do not vary.

Silicon must be added first and left for several hours. I am sure you know this! It does not dissolve well.

I leave mine for 24 hrs then calmag, a+b etc.

I cannot test till I add calmag ..... as I use RO and that with silicon will give BS results.

Was wondering what the PH would be of this silicon at a dosage of 0.5mlpL in roughly 7 (PH) water lol

If you can't do it no worries at all
