I am just planning ahead here... but I would like to know at what point do I sow the cover crop seeds?
Say I had a popped seed that is ready to come out from the wet paper towel.
Do I sow after the seedling is established?
Or, do I prepare a pot that is "cover cropped", ready to take a newly popped canna seed, and once the seedling is big enough, just put that into the pot, obviously root first?
Sowing the cover crop after the seedling has established makes sense, but in the wild seeds fall to the ground that has other vegetation anyway. So is there is "right" way to do it, or does it not matter? Thanks.
