been working away got my nephew checking water levels etc.
rang him last week and told him to move the light up and ask how they were doing.
he said they are fine.

I get back 2 days later light not moved and next to no water.
it was just all dry the whole plant.


needless to say he got a right slap.

had a very bad start with it all to be fair.
loads of problems with heat etc. was summer when started.

next lot are in now and even put another light in as well so got 2x vipaspectra v600s side by side.
got em cheap

No offence but that is outright lying! Complete zero respect for you as uncle and zero respect for his own integrity! I don't know how old this person is or what your relationship is like, but that is no way to conduct as a man, this nephew of yours.

P.S. We do have a "WPOTM" competition, Worst Plant Of The Month. It is however not held monthly as the name would suggest, but if you are interested, we are prone to these mishaps too. Would be interesting to see how your plant(s) did compared to other forumites.

You can’t rely on anyone mate. I went on holiday for two weeks last year and asked a mate to... go round my house after a week, cut the massive Glueberry plant down, hang it upside down and turn the light off.

He did the first two bits but he was certain my bulb had blown so left the lamp switched on... turned out he was there when the timer was off... outside temps were 35°+ so it was bye-bye 10 Oz of Glueberry OG! The plant was huge and totally ready for harvest.. the whole lot fried.

Lesson learned... always do everything yourself!

It's all good mate, things can get easily confused on the internet, as they are just words on a screen..can't hear how someone is saying something which can lead to 'crossed wires'

I really have a low tolerance against deceit. For such a simple task that you had asked him to do, not only did he not lift a finger, but gave a description that did not reflect what was actually going on. People may phrase it differently, but a lie is a lie. And there was not just one.

Ultimately he did not even invest in the task for a little kick back, that is just... grrr!!! Kids these days.

Sorry - I want to have faith in people but things don't always go that way.
