    Ideally you should never need to sterilise as if you have a balanced ecosystem you need pests for the preds to feed on and theyre kept in check!

    Youre 100% right what you say about cross polination etc, been reading into seed saving and there are plenty of plants you cant have within certain proximities if you plan to save seeds. Unless youre planning to breed though i think we would all be pretty gutted if we found pollen round our plants!

    No worry’s mate I actually do the same with my greenhouse soil in my planters. Had same soil years but condition of each season
