Yes. Gaz (where is Gaz?) found the soil great, but definitely something is up with it. I have lost soo many seeds trying to germinate in it. I tried and failed to germinate any lettuce or basil either in this soil.

So you start your seeds in a lighter mix soil and then move to your main soil ?

With photos I would. Autos I'd start them in their final pot and top dress. Where are you germinating the seeds? I had a bit of trouble getting them to crack and realised winter is much colder than summer haha fecking drafts

Quick update. 3weeks now.
She seems to have grown some since I put a dome on her yesterday.

temps are now consistently under 30, mid to high 20's, and humidity around 50%

I have tried everytinhg.
Straight into soil
Soak 18hrs then into soil
Paper towel method
Soak + paper towel method.

I always get very healthy tap roots (paper towel, and sometime soak), but as soon as the seed goes into the soil, it stops growing. I have pics early in this thread to show.
Then I tried one of the soaked seeds in Coco, and voila, but since its been in the soil, the growth is stagnant...

I'd take that dome off now N_S, and get her roots searching for water
